Welcome to Chiltern Jelly - Coworking events in and around the Chiltern Hills
Jelly takes Wing in the Chiltern Hills...
Are you located in the South Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire borders or wider surrounding area? Would you like to get away from your home/work office and work alongside other like-minded people for a day a month? Then Jelly is for you.
Funkbunk in Wing, near Leighton Buzzard, in the beautiful countryside of the Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders, have very kindly agreed to host Chiltern Jelly events for FREE and our first Jelly is to be held on Wednesday 4th August 2010 from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm - and thereafter on the first Wednesday of the month.
But what is Jelly?
-
Jelly is a free, informal, co-working event where freelancers, consultants, designers, entrepreneurs, home workers, illustrators, photographers, small business owners etc., who may like a ‘change of working scene’ once in a while, can meet up in order to get out of their normal workplace, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.
-
Jelly is not networking; it isn't about finding new clients, pitching your business or selling, anyone blatantly doing this will NOT be popular and there are plenty of excellent networking groups to be found within the Chilterns area.
How much does it cost to attend?
As we mentioned above, it's FREE to attend, with free Wifi, free parking, free tea/coffee/soft drinks and we will be operating a sandwich run for freshly made sandwiches to order on the day if you don't want to bring your own (but they're not free, you will need some pennies to pay for them) or you can always try one of the nearby local places or Pubs for lunch if you want to go out for a break.
Would you like to attend a Chiltern Jelly?
To ensure your place for the event on 4th August you MUST book via Eventbrite here as numbers are strictly limited. Once all available places have been booked, a waiting list will operate for the allocation of cancelled bookings. If you've booked to attend and then find you can't come along please, please let us know so that someone else can come in your place.
Do I have to stay all day?
You can arrive at any point from the starting time that fits your schedule, introduce yourself to the organisers plug in your laptop, access the Wifi and stay for as long as you have time available.
What do I need to attend?
Just bring a laptop, or whatever you need to be able to work, a smile and maybe, if you’re feeling generous… some cake!
