What's this Jelly all about then?

Jelly is a casual coworking event, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment. Jelly is a mixture of work, chat, comparing of ideas, passing on tips and help and maybe sometimes collaboration on the birth of a new project.

(Jelly differs from networking in that the aim is not to find new clients, pitch your business or to sell).

So, is it any good ?

Well we think it's great, but we're probably biased or brainwashed.

Take a look at a couple of video interviews with two recent participants about the first Frome Jelly

You can check out what some other people have said about local Jellies and what they have got out of them here:

We're always keen the hear what people think about our Jellies and get feedback, suggestions etc..

If you see (or have written) a blog post etc. that we've missed then please let us know and we'll add it to those here.

But I'm nowhere near you...

Hey don't worry - Jelly wasn't our idea (but gosh we wish that it was!)

Jelly is community thing, and anyone can get involved - if there isn't one near you then you could always start your own !

The best place to start is here and there is a guide to setting up Jelly in the UK here

Who's doing all this anyway ?

Jellies in Holt and Frome are organised by local home working advocate Judy Heminsley, author of the book Work from Homeand hosted by Forward Space who own beautifully converted coworking spaces in towns around the South West.
