Welcome to Bradford Jelly

People in and around Bradford are all very excited to see a Jelly being organised.  Our first one is taking place on Friday 8th October, 1pm onwards in Cafe Neros on Market Street.  Future events will take place in a venue to be confirmed with free wifi and coffee.

Thanks

Thanks to so many people for helping with publicity and offers of help and general excitement.  There's lots of people looking forward to this.

Our next event is:

Friday the 8th of October @ Cafe Nero on Market Street in Bradford City centre

Who comes to Jelly then ?

All sorts of people - and not just techie-types (although they are welcome too) !

Anyone who can bring some kind of work to do is welcome - whether it is computer based, paper based or craftbased.

So, is it any good ?

Well we think it's great, but we're probably biased or brainwashed.

You can check out what some other people have said about our Jellies and what they have got out of them via the links on the Bath/Bristol and Frome wiki pages

But I'm nowhere near you, darn ...

Hey don't worry - Jelly wasn't our idea (but gosh we wish that it was!).

Jelly is a community thing, and anyone can get involved - if there isn't one near you then you could always start your own!

The best place to start is here.

Judy Heminsley of workfromhomewisdom.com interviewed CoWorkingWest about coworking and Jelly in January 2010 - see her article here

If you are thinking of starting your OWN Jelly then you can also check out her excellent "everything you need to know" guide here

Who's doing all this anyway ?

There are now a number of people running these across the country.  They are started by fellow homeworkers, freelancers and digital nomads who sometimes miss the interaction of an office and want to have the opportunity to chat with others, exchange ideas and work in a refreshingly different environment.  Why don't you become the next new kid on the block?
