The Next Jelly on Northside ATL is WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2008 @ Roam!!

With all of the growing interest in a Jelly on the North Side of Atlanta, we are continuing the Jelly meet ups in Roswell on the Wednesday's of every month!!! We meet between two locations; Tony's American Grille and Roam Atlanta. The existing Jelly downtown [http://wiki.workatjelly.com/JellyInAtlanta] is growing by leaps and bounds every month, which is GREAT and with all of the technology located north of the city we should be able to get a sizeable group together for collaboration and networking pretty easily.

Upcoming Dates:

  • August 27 @ Roam
  • September 3 @ Tony's
  • September 10 @ Roam
  • September 17 @ Tony's
  • September 24 @ Roam

FEATURED NEWS:

*** We have some big announcements concerning our Jelly group this month that I am sure many of you will be excited to hear!

First of all, we are adding another day per month to our regular meet up at Tony's American Bar & Grille. Due to popular interest, we will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month now! We want to establish Wednesdays as  co-working day here on the North Side. One day a month has felt too sparse to get our group in that mode so this is a great step in that direction.

To that point, we are also adding TWO MORE days per month at a new location!! I met with the owners of the new, and VERY exciting, Roam Atlanta [www.roamatlanta.com] up on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta, who are extremely excited about our co-working group. Roam Atlanta is tailor made for this concept as they are a brand new, state of the art facility created as a model for the "New Workspace". In their own words:

"roam is an innovative meeting, dining, and gathering place for a new progressive workforce. We are dedicated to people on the move that need a better way to connect with others, work productively and grow their businesses. With more and more people working on the move, they need new kinds of places where they can meet, work, and learn. In response, we have created the most comprehensive off site work and meeting center available anywhere. One walk through the doors, and you’ll realize you are in a totally unique space, with a mission to help you be more successful."

We will be meeting  at Roam every 2nd and 4th week of each month, starting August 13. Roam is very excited to host us and, I can tell you, the space is just perfect. The fact that they serve a full menu throughout the day makes it just that much better. So, we look forward to creating a tradition up in Alpharetta as well!

Both of our locations should easily accommodate all of our North Side attendees and help us mix it up a little!  Please, as always, visit our Jelly Site for more details!

We were honored to be visited by a staff writer for CNN.com at our most recent Jelly In Rowell meet up. He interviewed us all for this piece on CNN.com.
