Help us plan the next Jelly! Post your date and location comments here: JellyInAtlanta-Planning
Future dates:
Monday, August 4 - Octane Coffee Hosted by Tessa Horehled
Note from the Organizer: I've picked up a lot of chatter about a Jelly on the northside of town - I think this is a great idea! After Jelly3 (December7), we'll look at spots on the northside for a get together. This may become another Jelly altogether, or we may just alternate locations to try and accomodate everyone's locale. Hope you can make it on December 7th! Thanks! ks
UPDATE!!!
We are starting a North Side group in Roswell!! Please check out the new Jelly In Roswell page for more information and add your name to the list of interested parties so we can get an idea of how big a group might be attending. Thanks!! -Kevin Bachman
UPDATE!!!
There is a group organizing a physical coworking space in Atlanta. If you're interested in either helping our or being a member head over to http://www.atlantaworkspace.com and let us know. We need to get an informal survey of who's interested and how much you are willing to pay.
What is this "Jelly"?
Jelly is an every-so-often casual coworking session. Anyone is welcome to come, bring a laptop, and work alongside other creative, fun people. Hope to see you there! See workatjelly.com and this blog post for more background. Email if you want to start your own!
Josh Brown (I live in the hell hole that is the suburbs if anybody wants to launch one in NE Atlanta)
Amy Bakari Network for networking independent publicists
heidi@heidiberger.net If there are others intown in the Emory/Decatur area (or areas nearby), I'm happy to get things started!
Jen Gordon Anyone want to meet up on Atlanta's WestSide?
Shane Zucker I have a gallery and communal screen print and letter press studio in Downtown Atlanta (on Spring and Mitchell St) called Art House. We have a lot of space. We would love to host sessions.
Fritz Hibbler - glad to help organize an event, feel free to contact me....
Kevin Bachman - I live up in Roswell and have found a really good place to meet on the northside with immediate access to GA 400, a comfortable setting, food and drink and a game room , the owner is in technology himself and is quite excited about the idea. I have emailed Amit at Jelly regarding starting a second ATL Jelly. If anyone would like to contact me about this I would love to get a response and head this up.
David Swales (david@province.com) I am organizing a site in the downtown area near castleberry for dedicated spaces with the idea of coworking as the backbone, would like to get some input, we are planning on two conference rooms, kitchen area, large break area with entertainment, copy/fax service, receptionist, and Voip phone systems, email me if you are interested
Jennifer Silverberg - would love one in N suburbs ... there's a great location on Holcomb Bridge that might be good for ECobb, Roswell, Alpharetta, Norcross, etc.
This is the JellyinAtlanta backchannel for sharing links and the like with the group during coworking sessions, or for those coworkers who are forced to work with us remotely!
